For goods clearance, note that the clearance process is different for export and import, and the steps involved in each one include different details. But in general, the steps of goods clearance can be summarized as follows:

First step: Entering the declaration information
According to the instructions of the customs department, the goods clearance process begins with providing information and registering the declaration in the EPL system. At this stage, the necessary documents are entered in the declaration form.
The second step: receiving the cottage and determining the route
After entering the documents, the declaration of the goods is checked in the customs authentication department and the registration operation is completed by receiving the registration or cottage number. At this stage, based on the information recorded in the system, the goods enter one of the three green, yellow or red routes.
Green route: the goods are referred directly to the green route expert and the fund without physical control.
Yellow route: goods are referred to the fund after document control and valuation in the value circle, without physical control. In the yellow route, the documents are carefully checked and the necessary permits and standards are obtained, but there is no need for a physical evaluation.
Red route: the goods are referred to the fund after full control of the documents and physical evaluation of the packages in the value circle. In the red route, it is necessary to complete all the administrative formalities and a physical examination is also done by an expert.
The third step: product evaluation
The goods placed in the yellow and red lanes must be controlled by the appraiser and must be matched with the documents registered in the system.
Fourth step: Obtaining the necessary permits
Special permits, such as standard certificates, health, quarantine, atomic energy, medical equipment, etc., are obtained at this stage.
The fifth step: checking the tariff and matching the goods
At this stage, the service expert compares the final declaration with the available documents and checks the obtained permits, and after the approval of the head of the service, the goods declaration is referred to the fund unit.
Sixth step: Fund payment
The owner of the goods deposits the cash receipt and the goods clearance license is received.
Step seven: Storage and loading
After clearing the cash receipt, a storage fee will be charged, which is different in different customs, then a loading permit will be issued.
Step eight: Exit the goods
After completing the clearance procedures and receiving the green permit and the exit stamp, the warehouse receipt is issued and the cargo is loaded for departure.
